Channel Letters
Channel letter signs presently are the top choice for commercial signage and are our bread and butter.
Highly versatile, channel letters can be created from standard styles or completely custom designed to suit your client's request. They can be used for internal or external storefronts and may be mounted directly to a building or on a metal "raceway" structure that can mount to a building with connection points. Whatever style you choose, US Signs and Letters will fabricate a quality illuminated or non-illuminated sign that makes your mark!
Whether standard or custom fabricated, our channel letters are individually created, dimensional letters. Each letter is separate and formed of separate aluminum "channel" enclosures that can house LED or other lighting to form an illuminated sign. The sides of the channels, or "returns" can be of depths from 2" to 10" with the outsides painted to match the face or in a contrasting color. The front or "face" of some styles of channel letters signs are acrylic and provide a wide variety of color choices to work with your clients' logos, branding, and specific site.
US Signs and Letters wholesale channel letters come in six basic styles:
- Front Lit Channel Letters - these are the most common type of channel letter type also sometimes called "standard"channel letters. As the name implies, these signs emit illumination only from the front [face] of the letters. They can be used in both shopping malls and outdoor plazas. These can be either raceway or flush mounted. We can produce this letter type in many different font and color combinations.
- Reverse Lit Channel Letters - illuminated with LED, they provide a backlit halo effect.
- Front & Back Lit Channel Letters - they are a combination of regular and reverse channel letters. This product glows through the front and give a halo effect on the back. These letters may be illuminated with one or two colors to give the desired effect. Just as with standard reverse channel letters, front/back lit letters have a clear polycarbonate back to prevent animals from nesting inside the letter.

Channel Letters
Our standard channel letter is made using 0.063 alum backs with 0.050-0.063 alum returns mig welded to them. We use 3/16 acrylic faces and 1 inch trimcap. The seams in the letters are caulked. These letters are illuminated with LEDs. Channel letters are custom-made metal or plastic letters commonly used in exterior signage on public and commercial buildings, and often internally illuminated.

We supply all electrical components, necessary for installation, with all UL Listed channel letters. We do not, however, supply what is needed for final connection to the electrical supply

- Standard channel depths are 3”, 3.5”, 4”, and 5”. Custom depths are also available.
